I have been in the educational world for over 20 years.  I am certified K-9 in Elementary Education and MS/HS English Language Arts.  I have taught K, 1st, 3rd, and 5th in Elementary.  I have taught over half my career in Middle School in World History and Reading/Writing.  

I am currently teaching 6th Grade World History for three periods a day and am an Instructional/Technology Coach for the remainder of my schedule.  I have been an IC for over 7 years in a district that has been 1-1 with iPads for over 9 years.  

My position focuses on all aspects of instructional coaching with an emphasis on using technology in the classroom in effective and engaging ways.  I teach fellow colleagues how to use these techniques to create 21st century classrooms.  I also work closely with our technology department to assist in technical issues to support teachers in every aspect of their teaching.

I am a highly trained Apple Teacher, as well as a trainer of the Leader in Me program.  I am trained in the Build Your Own Curriculum Program and am a Schoology support person in our District.   I have presented at several conferences in our state about our effective 1-1 program at our district.

I also am the mother of five beautiful children ranging in age 3-18 and am a wife of a very dedicated teacher/technology support specialist and football coach. ​
